Sr. Payroll Processor

 

Premier Health Care Services, a regional leader in Emergency Medicine Physician Services and Emergency Department Management, is committed to providing quality care to patients, superior service to customers, and promoting high ethical standards in the way we conduct our daily activities.  We have an immediate need for a Sr. Payroll Processor to join our team of professionals and serve our customers.

 

This person will be responsible for, but not be limited to, processing biweekly payroll for multiple companies; preparing and filing all payroll tax returns: federal, state and local; preparing various income withholding paperwork and processing payments; performing monthly general ledger reconciles as well as preparing accurate payroll reporting data for management reporting.  In addition the position will be responsible for tracking timesheet entries and corrections, preparation of data and information for special payroll projects and calculations.  This position will back up and support the payroll supervisor responsibilities.

 

Minimum Qualifications

 A high school diploma or equivalent3 Plus Years experience in the payroll field General ledger accounting knowledge Proficient in Microsoft ExcelStrong organizational, analytical and follow-up skills a mustExcellent oral and written communication skillsBe able to work independently, as well as in a team environment

 

Desired Qualifications

 Great Plains software experience highly desired.Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) is a plus.
