Senior Programmer Analyst - C#, VB.Net, SSRS, SSIS

 

SENIOR PROGRAMMER ANALYST

 

We need a Senior Programmer Analyst to help us implement new technology in our Foothill Ranch, CA location.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Perform system analysis and development for systems integration, software application development, maintenance and support activities

· Perform root cause analysis for production issues in the applications. Fix the problems and perform enhancements to prevent future application problems.

· Perform testing for application support and development related activities. Work with business and QA teams to develop test scripts and perform testing.

· Follow SDLC processes for application support and development.

· Develop system solutions for business problems.

 

Skills & experience:

Required

 

· At least 5 years of experience as programmer analyst.

· Strong background in application development and support.

· Has extensive experience in C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net, ADO.NET, ASP, VB, Perl, PHP, and VISUAL STUDIO.NET technologies.

· 5-7 years client-server, multi-tier solution development and deployment experience.

· Experience in creating complex SSIS packages.

· Expertise in designing and developing of SQL Server solutions.

· Excellent communication skills, strong analytical & logical abilities in system analysis & technical documentation.

· Experience in implementing software projects that impact multiple platforms.

· Strong web development and deployment skills.

· Excellent planning and troubleshooting skills.

· Proactive in issue escalation and resolution.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Experience with working in matrixed environment and project teams.

· Goal oriented, proactive, responsive.

· Deadline driven, has sense of urgency.

· Focused on quality of deployed software.

 

Desired

 

· IBM AS400/iSeries experience a plus.

· Experience with combined “legacy and future state� production environments.

· Will report to Manager, Solutions Delivery (Application Development and Support).

· Work closely with dotted line reporting to technology and architecture organizations in IS.
