This position will facilitate work process redesign initiatives with clinical and non-clinical departments as part of the campus redevelopment initiative. The successful candidate will facilitate the conception and design of new systems for clinical care delivery as well as non-clinical processes within the new buildings of The Johns Hopkins Hospital.Responsibilities: • Identifies, captures and achieves operational and strategic improvement opportunities • Advances organizational performance by utilizing a systems approach to analyzing processes, building relationships and facilitating change • Leads or facilitates organizational efforts for business process improvement, change management, systems redesign, integration and solutions development • Provides staff support in planning and organizing cross-functional unit and cross-entity activities and committees • Develops and implements space allocation strategies that support the overall institutional and department specific objectives • Coordinates space management within scope of institutional and departmental strategic planning Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree in Business or Health Administration, engineering or other relevant field is highly preferred • Seven to ten years experience; Supervisory/managerial experience preferred • Industrial engineering experience/education a strong plus • Strong knowledge of spreadsheet, database, presentation and word processing software • Knowledge of finance, quality management, planning and administrative the • Manage and mentor diverse groups toward the accomplishment of established goals It's because we value the people who work here that we offer an unparalleled benefits package that includes, Medical, Vision and Dental Coverage, generous tuition reimbursement program, multifaceted retirement options and even college grant tuition for your dependents.Good health care involves more than good medicine – it relies on the creative, inventive people who provide it.
