Quality Assurance Analyst (ITS / Blues Plan Test)

SMC’s Commercial Division is looking for a Senior QA Analyst to become part of our team with an enterprise commercial client in Baltimore.  As a Senior QA Analyst the qualified candidate must possess the following background.

 

 

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality applications.

Participates in test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution.

Testing may include application, network, system and user acceptance testing.

Good knowledge of information systems elements (hardware, software, network) and their application to business functions/processes.

 

Preferred Skills:

 

Experienced Test Lead
Matrix Management experience
ITS (Interplan Teleprocessing Services) or Blues Plan Testing Experience Strongly Preferred

 

Project Details:

This company will be enhancing the ITS software to remove current limitations regarding the number of claims lines, dollar amounts and number of units in ITS Release 10.1 implementing in April 2008. Plans will then have to make local accommodations for those same requirements along with ITS Release 10.2 implementing in November 2008. The corporate initiative project will implement the software releases, including other scheduled functionality changes, as well as the local plan changes in compliance with company mandated implementation timelines.
