Description

We are seeking a highly motivated scientist/research associate supporting the phage display group with the molecular biology tasks.The candidate will be responsible for constructing affinity maturation libraries, batch cloning of candidates into bacterial and mammalian expression vectors, preparation of samples for DNA sequencing and analysis of sequence results. In addition, the person will manage the laboratory, maintaining equipment and reagents.Minimal day-to-day supervision required on routine or established assignments, while exercising significant independence and technical discretion in design and execution of work and interpretation of results. ** This position is located in our Billerica, MA facility
Successful candidate must have a MS (+ 3 yrs) or Ph.D. in scientific discipline with considerable experience in phage display technology, and molecular biology (library construction, batch cloning). Must have ability to work independently, be motivated, flexible, responsible, and a good team-player with effective multi-tasking skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essentials.
