Senior Staff Accountant

International Financial Group (IFG) is a Resource-Based Practice specializing in providing candidates to clients in disciplines such as Staff/Senior Accounting, Corporate Tax, Internal Audit-SOX, Controller/CFO, Financial and Management Reporting, Financial Analysis, Business Process Improvement, Financial Systems Initiatives.

 

We are currently looking for two Senior Staff Accountants with the following background.

 

* Assist with month-end close, analysis of general ledger accounts, forecasting and budgeting.

* Prepare monthly financial statements along with journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules. 

* Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing reconciliation and resolving discrepancies.

* Reconcile monthly bank statements.

* Generate monthly financial reports for Senior Management.



Job Requirements:

* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting 

* Minimum of two to five years relevant work experience.

* Strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills and written and verbal communication skills.

* Must be self-motivated, organized and able to prioritize tasks and exercise independent judgment.

* Knowledgeable and proficient in the operation of accounting systems and spreadsheet software.

* Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.) Must be able to utilize Excel to analyze, summarize and prepare financial information in a timely and accurate manner.

* High degree of professionalism, confidentiality.
