**Position Located in Deerfield Beach**

The individual in this position is a member of the health care team providing clerical services to support the physicians in delivering patient care services in an ambulatory care setting. The individual in the position is required to interact continuously with patients, clinical staff, and the public and must, therefore, be articulate as well as possess superior customer service skills. Job duties comprise the clerical functions that support the clinical practice including the front and back end operations of reception, referrals, appointment scheduling, answering of telephones, and patient and physician correspondence. Also is cross-trained in all areas and expected to provide relief for these other duties, as necessary, to assure the continued provision of efficient patient and physician support.





High School diploma or equivalent a minimum of five years of patient related clerical experience in an office setting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required. Knowledge of medical terminology, knowledge of managed care and insurance coverage, training in computer usage preferred. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications will be considered.
