The Department of Medical Information Technology is seeking a professional engineer for a Senior Systems Administrator. Responsibilities include overseeing and leading the teams in support of the Windows/Unix/Linux server and application environments; rotational on-call 24/7 duties; ensuring availability, reliability and security of supported systems; disaster recovery/business continuity.

Bachelors Degree and five years relevant experience required. Must have experience with leading technical IT initiatives in a large enterprise IP network environment and have strong working knowledge of networking topologies. Tivoli Storage Manager and VMWare experience a plus. In depth knowledge and experience with High Availability Clustering, Solaris, AIX, Linux, and Active Directory preferred. Excellent verbal and written English skills required. Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience, and/or certifications will be considered.
