Service Line Director, Oncology

The Director is responsible for leading all clinical cancer services.  Director promotes and supports the mission, vision and objectives of Saint John’s Health Center and is responsible and accountable for the clinical, fiscal, and personnel management of the John Wayne Cancer Institute Outpatient Clinic, Breast Center, Inpatient Oncology Unit and Radiation Oncology departments. The Director is responsible for operations including monitoring and maintaining quality, patient satisfaction, annual business planning (including budgeting, staffing, marketing and new business development), facilitation of physician integration, operational efficiencies and coordination of interaction with other clinical service areas.



· 24 hour responsibility for assigned division.

· Reports to Vice President, Patient Care Services 

· Bachelor’s degree in business, hospital administration, public health, nursing, or health related field; master’s degree preferred.

· RN:  current license in the State of California.

· Minimum five (5) years progressive management experience in health care setting.

· Previous experience in cancer center leadership required.
