Social Work Supervisor - Emergency, CARE Center & Outreach

Provides supervision to professional staff, hires staff, evaluates staff, leads clinical team. Applies advanced clinical skills to professional social work practice with individuals, families, and groups. Administers social work services for ED, the CARE Center, and Outreach Services, participating in budgetary and service planning for those social work services. Provides direct social work clinical services, completing psychosocial assessments and providing social work interventions for patients and families in the ED. Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams in the ED, CARE Center, and Outreach Services.

Licensed Independent Social Worker with Master’s Degree in Social Work with three years post Master’s experience in a setting with parent-child exposure. At least one year prior experience training and supervising professionals students or staff, leadership skills, and expertise in handling supervisory and administrative issues. Must have strong clinical, listening, and communication skills and the ability to work well in an interdisciplinary setting. Computer skills to assist with reports, clinical documentation, and care monitoring are necessary.
