 This Developer Advisor/Solutions Engineer Advisor Senior supports Finance and other business departments using the PeopleSoft Financial applications, participating in all phases of the development and maintenance life cycle. Responsibilities include: Supporst, maintains, and enhances PeopleSoft Financial modules, including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and General Ledger. Develops PeopleSoft enhancements and new capabilities in support of projects and change requests. Owns the technical development environment and works on the Enterprise team. Upgrades PeopleSoft systems, including applying patches, bundles, major application releases and tools, as needed. Performs technical design reviews and code reviews. Develops and owns list of final enhancements. Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan. Responsible for delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning effort. Supports batch processes. Assists business associates with queries and other application issues. Coordinates and manages on-call support and owns the system monitoring process. Performs other duties as assigned. AA degree, BA/BS degree or technical institute training is required. Developer Advisor requires 5 or more years experience on one or more platforms, multi database, multi language and expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Senior Solutions Engineer Advisor requires 7 or more years experience on one or more platforms, multi database, multi language and expert level experience with business and technical applications, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Incumbent should also have the ability to mentor others, lead multiple small projects and provide troubleshooting support. Understanding of PeopleSoft Financials applications is strongly preferred. Expertise in installing and configuring PeopleSoft Financials products is strongly preferred. Development experience in PeopleTools 8.x (Application Engine and PeopleCode) is strongly preferred. Experience with key PeopleSoft development components such as Application Designer, Upgrade Assistant, SQR on a UNIX/Oracle platform is preferred. Experience in Oracle tuning, UNIX scripting, PeopleSoft Internet architecture, Crystal Reports, and PeopleSoft security administration is desirable.
