SPEECH THERAPY SERVICES COORDINATOR



McLaren Regional Medical Center in Flint, Michigan has an immediate opportunity for an experienced clinician. 


 Speech Language Pathology Department Profile:
The Speech Language Pathology Department has been a part of the Therapy Services and Rehabilitation Center for over 35 years and provides a continuum of services in speech, language, voice, cognitive, fluency, swallowing and augmentative communication disorders.

Position Summary:
Responsible for assisting the department Manager and Director in the implementation of new clinical and service delivery programs. Assists Manager in coordination of staffing issues as related to clinical needs, student programs and implementation of quality assurance programs. Performs duties as outlined as a Staff Speech-Language Pathologist.

Required Education/Experience:
1. Certificate of Clinical Competence from American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
2. Three years experience in area of specialty. Demonstrates advanced education in specialty area.
3. Ability to operate clinical equipment as appropriate.
4. Trained and educated in age-specific categories being served: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric.
5. Ability to effectively communicate and present self to people in courteous, tactful and poised manner.
