Sr. Account Executive

Health Industry Insights, an IDC company, provides health and life sciences industry executives, and the suppliers who serve them, with market research and advisory services. The company's integrated coverage spans the entire health industry value chain and closely follows the payer, provider and life sciences markets with special emphasis on developing and employing strategies that leverage IT investments to maximize organizational performance.

Healthcare Insights, an IDC company, is responsible for developing market research and advisory services focused on the Healthcare Industry. We are currently seeking a Senior Account Executive who has been successful selling into global healthcare provider and payer organizations as well as IT vendors who serve the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities and Clients:

This Senior Account Executive will create/deploy solution selling techniques to grow and expand the Healthcare Insights practice. This position will have nationwide sales responsibilities for selling the Healthcare products – subscription advisory services, multi-client studies and consulting projects. The successful candidate will be able to make presentations on the product offerings primarily to CIOs but to other CxOs as well, and tailor the Healthcare Insights offerings to client needs. The individual must be knowledgeable about IT issues in Healthcare, have relationships with Healthcare companies and IT vendors serving the Healthcare industry, and be able to research and develop relationships with potential clients. This role will be a combination of individual work and team selling with analysts, consultants, and other IDC sales professionals.

Skills and Experience:

Requirements for the position include 5-10 years of demonstrated success in a quota-carrying capacity, a strong willingness and aptitude to work collaboratively, strong written and presentation skills, ability to build relationships at all levels within a company and the ability to set a sales strategy to develop new business as well as incremental sales with existing clients. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required along with a Bachelor's degree. An MBA is a plus. This position will be based in Irvine, CA and requires 30% travel.
