Job Description Sr. Analyst It Financial Information Management Primary responsibilities consist of analyzing the data quality of third party claims data received from prospective customers in order to manipulate the data into common data structures that support reporting.  Develop and execute SQL and/or ORACLE queries against existing data sources and apply database/programming skills to automate processes.  Type of data to be analyzed includes radiology, pharmacy, and behavioral health and will involve discussions with the prospective customers.  Develop ad-hoc reports for specific business needs as requested.  Position will support Underwriting, Finance, and the pre-Sales process, and any other partner the department is teamed with from inside or outside the organization.   Analyze data quality of third party claims data for completeness, accuracy, and manipulation into common data structures.  Develop and execute SQL queries against existing data sources.  This will also include coordination with others to define requirements and desired output.  Design, develop, implement, and maintain recurring scheduled reports.  Verify query results satisfy defined requirements and tie to known metrics.  Create requirements and supporting documentation for reports, extracts, and analyses. The successful candidate will have a BA/BS degree plus 3-5 years prior experience.  Additionally, being proficient in SQL or ORACLE, Access and Excel are also required. Magellan offers a competitive salary & many excellent benefits including medical, dental, pharmacy, vision, generous time off, tuition reimbursement and more.  For immediate consideration, please apply online and search for Requisition 2925  www.magellanhealth.com  Magellan Health Services  Getting Better all the Time. Proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
