Sr. Application Analyst, ERP, Lawson

Responsible for the planning, coordinating, and implementing administrative, clinical, and financial applications. Leads and implements improvements, enhancements, updates and modifications to administrative, clinical and/or financial applications.  Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with user departments to ensure appropriate training and utilization of application systems.  Analyzes current and future user requirements, procedures, and problems to develop information system solutions to improve and support business unit operations.  Prepares functional specifications and recommendations.Education:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with emphasis on Information Systems, business administration, or health care related field with course work in systems analysis and programming.Experience:Four years related experience in a healthcare or business environment.  Experience in systems analysis/programming, customer service, vendor information and information systems, project management experience.  Experience that includes exposure to networking and hardware preferred.Skills:Strong analytical ability to solve complex technical problems.  Competent in micro computing including desktop applications, project management, and communication and emulation applications.  Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interface with internal/external customers.  Understanding of information systems and their impact to customers.Lawson Experience Preferred.  There are 2 positions.  Must be willing to carry a pager and be available for 24x7 oncall support to include weekdays, evenings and weekends. Frequency of rotation will vary depending on need/size of department.
