Sr. Business Analyst

Skinner and Associates (www.SkinnerandAssociates.com ) is a Healthcare IT recruiting firm specializing in PACS and RIS. We currently have a Health System client in Nashville, TN looking for a Senior Business Analyst.

Provides recognized business or clinical knowledge in analyzing and collaborating on business opportunities. Analyses business or clinical problems/opportunities in the context of requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals. Recommends changes to core IT&S infrastructure, current business/clinical processes, policies, and information systems that provide recognized business value. Works with other key project team members to define requirements, design the functional solution, identify and escalate project issues, and ensure the IT solution meets requirements.Communicates and validates requirements for changes to business processes, clinical processes, policies, and information systems. Creates joint vision for IT solutions by maintaining strong relationships with business unit and Solution Leader and assists in preparing and presenting the value proposition or business case. Creates deliverables independently or through BA team and manages approvals. Provides coaching, technical, functional guidance on specific project deliverables, and provides input for performance development and goals. Provides expertise in process design and provides leadership in communicating requirements to product development, testing, and education/training. Develops a strong and diverse network of relationships with various stakeholder groups. Identifies impact to other solutions or projects, and works with other BA’s and stakeholders to identify options and recommendations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's Degree preferred, requires three to seven years related experience Familiarity with HL7, XML and other healthcare interface and data exchange transaction standards and methods Experience with MEDITECH or other HIS/RIS vendor clinical systems Strong Business Analysis experience or Meditech Radiology module experience preferred Clinical radiology background with RIS analyst experience Candidate must also be detailed oriented, very motivated, have good organizational skills, possess strong leadership, follow-through and analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and possess strong collaboration, facilitation and negotiation skills
