Sr. Financial Analyst at UMass Memorial HealthCare

Position Summary:  
Primarily responsible for the collection and preparation of financial/statistical data, the preparation of market data and the preparation of feasibility analyses to evaluate New Program and Network Investments.

Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting, Health Care Administration, or related field, with 3+ years of relevant work experience are required. A comprehensive working knowledge of computer-based financial/forecasting techniques, and familiarity with hospital/healthcare deliver systems and financial forecasting is required. Must possess a fundamental understanding of accounting procedures and the ability to assist in the development of a financial plan.  Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills and the ability to develop and present creative approaches and solutions to strategic business issues. Must possess strong micro-computer skills, including familiarity with data base management systems and electronic spreadsheets. Knowledge of financial analysis techniques and healthcare delivery systems required. Prefer CPA, MBA or MHA.
