 Summary

Our client is  seeking a highly motivated and energetic Software developer with 7-10 years of solid application development experience including professional experience with object oriented technologies in designing and development of multi-tiered web applications.Essential Duties and Responsibilties: Participate in the design, specification, and architecture of both internal and customer facing systems using industry standard best practices. Design and develop software applications in client/server and web environment. Write professional-quality documented code. Maintain and enhance existing software systems when needed. Test and enhance existing software systems when needed. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Java, XML, JSP, Java Servlets, HTML and JavaScript and other J2EE technologies. Experience in web application frameworks like Struts, Tapestry, WebWorks or similar frameworks. Web services development experience. Ability to manage and execute multiple work efforts while adhering to firm deadlines. Software development experience in Life Science industry or regulatory environment is a plus. UML and OO Analysis and Design. Experience in database and application design. Experience with relational databases. MS SQL Server 2000 database is preferred.
