Sr. Maintenance Mechanic

Performs duties related to facility and packaging and/or manufacturing equipment maintenance. Under minimum supervision, diagnoses, troubleshoots, installs, repairs and reassembles complex equipment. Provides leadership to coworkers as required. Leading projects and working in close proximity with contractors and vendors. Maintains a safe and debris-free work environment by maintaining a knowledge of and following company safety rules, SOPs, cGMPs, and FDA mandates as required, reporting any unsafe acts or facility and/or equipment damage to management, and participates in safety programs and training. Assists with the training and orientation of coworkers.Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Trade school credits preferred. Minimum two years' building maintenance experience required. Effective verbal and written communication skills required, in English. Demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and machinery required. Ability to read blueprints required.
