This position is responsible for ensuring UHN and UHC health services unit cost and profitability objectives are achieved in the assigned market(s). Support network pricing strategies and tactics, in collaboration with local network field leaders and network managers Conduct unit cost and contract valuation analysis in support of significant network contracting negotiations and unit cost management strategies Assume direct responsibility for specific facility and physician contracts, and present contract valuations to key stakeholders as appropriate Produce network pricing metrics, reports, and communication Use appropriate network pricing models and analytical tools Train and support field network managers in the appropriate use of network pricing models and analytical tools Coordinate with regional network pricing and trend analysis areas to communicate relevant unit cost and network pricing informationCollege Degree or higher required. Equivalent education and experience will be considered. Four or more years analytical experience in healthcare pricing, network management, or related discipline. Excellent financial impact analysis, risk management, and data manipulation skills. Strong interpersonal, collaboration, negotiation and communication skills. Sound understanding of healthcare data, trends, reserving, and reporting.
