We are looking for a skilled healthcare pricing professional to join our Greensboro office as the newest Sr. Network Pricing Analyst. In this role, you would conduct financial modeling, analysis and reporting in an effort to support and validate network contracting and unit cost management activities. This is an ideal role for an experienced financial analyst looking to further his or her knowledge of the healthcare industry. Key responsibilities include: Performing proposal analysis and research regarding provider contract valuation Providing financial analyses and projections during the negotiation process Tracking unit cost/contractual changes for the applicable market Collaborating with Network Management on contract proposals Pulling and analyzing provider specific data Creating financial models to forecast cost and profitability Completing ad hoc projectsRequirements: Experience as a Financial Analyst Financial impact analysis, risk management & data manipulation experience A solid ability to create and use financial modeling tools Proficiency in MS Office applications Excellent verbal and written communication skills A bachelor's degreePreferred assets: Strong healthcare analytical experience with hospitals and/or physicians Solid understanding of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including Medicare Experience within healthcare pricing, provider contracting or healthcare claims MS Access skillsUnitedHealth Group offers a full range of comprehensive benefits to full-time and part-time employees, including medical, dental and vision, as well as a matching 401k and an employee stock purchase plan.
