Sr. Operating Engineer (Building Engineer)

This position will be located in our new Legacy Campus opening soon in Plano, TX, and is responsible for analyzing, planning, installing, evaluating, certifying and correcting mechanical system malfunctions. Will be assigned to repair, test and maintain the following types of equipment: emergency generators and switch-gear; medical gas system components; generating plant and HVAC systems; emergency/electrical power systems and fire alarm and sprinkler equipment.

 

A high school diploma or equivalent is required plus two to three years of related experience. A state CFC license is required. Good communication skills are required. Must be able to read and understand blueprints, technical manuals and other technical documentation. Must be computer literate and have the ability to understand, operate and troubleshoot building automation systems. The ability to work a rotating shift is essential.
