We are a leading healthcare firm in need of a Staff Accountant to become a part of our team. This position will allow the Staff Accountant exposure to multiple industries, including healthcare, real estate, and software. This position reports to the Corporate Accounting Manager and interacts with the Controller and Chief Financial Officer and other key accounting and operations personnel. Healix Corporate offices are located in Sugar Land, Texas.  Offices hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and this position requires occasional overtime.

Primary duties include the following:Capital expenditure and inventory accounting Accounts Receivable credit analysisAssistance with GAAP financial statement preparationGeneral Ledger review and reconciliationSpecial projects as identified by the Executive team and management

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in accounting.  Eligibility for CPA certification.  This position requires an energetic, friendly, team player with good communication and software skills.  This position utilizes Solomon accounting software, Best Fixed Assets software, FRX, Excel, and Word.
