We have an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant – Accounts Receivables.  The successful candidate will be very organized, energetic, and enjoy working in a fast-paced office with diverse duties. 

 

Responsibilities include:

· Performs daily cash reconciliations

· Manages petty cash

· Prepares bank deposits

· Assists with monthly bank and accounts receivable reconciliations

· Assists clients and employees with questions on client accounts

· Prints and mails invoices daily and statements monthly

· Manages and processes refund and adjustment requests

· Resolves credit card disputes and follows-up on returned checks

· Assists with monthly storage renewals

· Prepares reports, including accounts receivable aging and credit memo reports

· Organizes and maintains client records

· Prepares parking reimbursements

· Records monthly deferred revenue and maintains reconciliation schedule

· Ensures all duties are performed and work is prepared in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (“GAAP”) and company policy and procedures

· Assists in the preparation and execution of the annual audits of the financial statement

· Other duties and projects as required

 

Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; 2-3 years related experience; knowledge of, and proficiency in the use of, MS Word/Excel and a 10-key calculator; basic knowledge of GAAP and the ability to apply the principles to practical business and operational applications; excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills; strong attention to detail; and detail-oriented nature.  Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Navision and/or ERP database(s) a plus.
