Swedish has an exciting opportunity at our First Hill Campus for a Staff RN in Inpatient Surgery! Experience hands-on responsibility for working in a team environment, providing nursing care adapted to individual patient needs based on the nursing process that includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Duties include supervising, coordinating, and delegating the personnel who participate in the provision of care to ensure that patient needs and expected outcomes are met. With passion, skill, creativity, respect, and a positive approach, the RN assumes accountability to peers and functions as a strong team player in the caring for patients. Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited Registered Nurse Program. Current Washington State Nursing License with current BLS and NRP certifications required. Skill set should include ability to communicate effectively in the English language, basic computer skills, and basic math skills. Incumbent must have a minimum of one year of related operating room experience or a completion of an approved training course. A working knowledge of operating room specific equipment is also required.
