Job Summary:

 

The Staffing Assistant is responsible for providing excellent internal and external customer service in support of ongoing Staffing/HRC activities.  Duties include:Responsible for following the timecard process through submission and verification, tracking missing timesheets and resolving timesheet discrepancies.  Responds to caregiver concerns and questions about paychecks, including researching issue, determining cause, and discussing possible resolution with Payroll Specialist.Responsibly handles all petty cash from caregivers, including expense slips, mileage slips, and tracking, logging, reconciling and processing on a timely basis. Ensures new caregiver files for applicants are prepared, new caregiver hires have complete files, and that applicant information is logged into tracking database.  Serves as Staffing backup, including making phone calls to caregivers, assisting HRCs as needed with additional/critical tasks, and assuming rotation on Pager Duty as needed. Serves as primary back – up to the Front Desk Receptionist for breaks and one day absences. Other duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Experience / Credentials / Education:High school diploma or equivalency required. PC proficiency required. Must be able to maintain employee and candidate information in a highly confidential manner and demonstrate efficient problem-solving skills.Must be detail-oriented with the ability to work in a fast-paced, high volume office environment. Previous secretarial, clerical or administrative office experience preferred.
