Job Description:


This position requires a “minimum of 2 years experience within the last 5 years which shall include nursing supervision and providing care to the types of pediatric patients with technology dependency for whom the facility provides care” Under the general supervision of the Director of Patient Care Services the Sub-Acute Program Manager performs a variety of patient care functions and closely observes patients for changes in medical status. This position also uses independent judgment and discretion in maintaining the delivery of quality patient care by assuring that the nursing and medical care plan is followed and in supervisory decisions. The Su-Acute Program Manager is responsible for required reporting of patient and census data to appropriate data collection systems such as MDS and LTCQ systems. In the absence of the Director of Patient Care Services, this position assumes full responsibility for the hospital and patient care.

Requirements

Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the State of California. *Current PALS certification. *Current CPR certification. *Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred Experience: *Prefer one year experience in hospital/rehabilitation setting. *Prefer ACLS certification.
