Substance Abuse program in Southern Maryland - Human Services Worker / Direct Care

Walden/Sierra is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been serving Southern Maryland since 1973 through crisis services, counseling and substance abuse treatment.



Our Mission: Walden is dedicated to providing help and hope to courageous individuals healing from trauma and addiction. Join our inpatient addictions team and work in our state of the art facility.  Located in Charlotte Hall, MD (St. Mary's County), Anchor of Walden/Sierra is a 28-day drug and alcohol treatment program serving male and female adults.  Full-time Human Services Worker needed for awake overnight shift (12am-8am).  Duties include monitoring facility and residents, answering crisis hotline phones and some administrative tasks.  Human Services experience or education preferred.  Applicants must be 21 or older with a valid drivers license and HS Diploma/GED.
