For more information on Health Net, Inc., please visit the company’s Web site at www.healthnet.com. JOB SUMMARY: This position can be located in either Arlington, VA; Hampton, VA; Irving TX; or San Rafael, CA;The Supervisor of Military & Family Life Services is responsible for the daily operations of clinical team members and contracted providers who are part of the Military & Family Life Services Program with the DoD.  Provides clinical back-up on complex situations and cases while adhering to MHN Government Services guidelines and DoD SOP.  Accountable for tracking trends and recommending interventions as needed. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees, trains and monitors performance of remote clinical teams of contracted providers (who work as Child Behavioral Military & Family Life Consultants) and all associated responsibilities. Oversight of remote and local contracted providers at both domestic and overseas military installations. Provides advice to staff in the resolution of operational problems. Consults with DoD client representatives on how to best optimize work-life balance for military members and their families. Facilitates and coordinates all special requests for unique service delivery capabilities for the DoD including determining client requirements, proposing delivery options and ensuring smooth delivery of services. Develops and maintains a strong working relationships with local Point of Contacts at military installations. Prepares reports for management and tracks program activities. Works on special projects as needed. REQUIREMENTS: Education:Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology or Counseling Certification/License:  Current state licensure required (LCSW, MFT, LPC, PhD) Experience:One year supervisory experience, preferably in a managed care environment. Extensive clinical experience in the behavioral health field; experience working with children (ages 1-12) required. Experience planning, leading and organizing resources of a team.  Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Knowledge of the military and child development preferred Clinical training and/or coursework in the treatment of children Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and achieve specific goals and objectives Strong leadership, organizational, analytical and supervisory skills Computer literacy; proficiency with MS Office applicationsExcellent oral and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills Demonstrates ability to prepare reports both in numeric and narrative formats Valid Driver's license Ability to travel up to 15%ORAny combination of academic education, professional training or work experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.As a government contractor, this position requires U.
