Supervisor, Credit & Collections

Join a new Global Leader in the medical equipment marketplace.  Mindray Medical International has announced its plan to acquire the Patient Monitoring business of Datascope Corp.  The new Mindray-Datascope USA is already a well established and growing business with sales approaching $200M annually.  Headquartered in Mahwah, NJ.  Mindray-Datascope USA is seeking a leader for its Credit and Collections Group.

 

Accountability Objective:

Supervises all global collection effort by establishing cash flow and DSO objectives

 

Essential Functions:

Direct and manage all activities in both domestic and international credit and collections

Strong knowledge of handling all aspects of issuing letters of credit

Ability to prepare financial statements and determine risk factors

Knowledge of bankruptcy proceedings and handling legal accounts

Ability to prepare financial reporting for bad debt reserve, DSO calculations

Monitoring and reporting all collections’ activities

Experience with implementing and maintaining credit policies on internal controls and direct experience with internal and external auditors

Key interaction with Sales team, Sales Management, and Financial Management teams

 

Positions Specifications:

Degree in Business (preferably Finance)

10+ years of credit experience including supervision of C&C reps.

Strong communications skills both oral and written

Computer background needed both on a P/C, Microsoft word, Excel and SAP
