Supervisor, Credit Resolution

Join us and find the career of a lifetime. Supervise, lead and mentor the staff responsible for Credit Balance Resolution. Drive team toward meeting daily/weekly operational goals. Monitors the activity within the following Credit Balance Categories: Insurance Credit Correspondence, QAccounts, Non-CoPay like Credits, Unidentified Cash and Do Not Bill Accounts. Develop and maintain a departmental process manual according to PBO standards. Works closely with the Credit Resolution Manager to ensure UPHS policies are followed and staff production expectations are being met. Looks for process impacting trends creating increase in refund volume and escalate to the appropriate department. Works closely with PBO Management team to analyzing payer refund trends and report unusual activity to Senior Management. Minimum Experience Required: - Minimum 1-2 years supervisory experience - 3-5 years experience with IDX charge entry, payment posting and A/R management required. - Prior refund processing highly desired. - B.S. in health care or business administration preferred and/or equivalent experience. Skill Requirements: - Knowledge of ICD9 and CPT coding preferred. - Knowledge of computerized billing systems, specifically IDX preferred. - Knowledge of SMS, Lawson preferred.
