Supervisor, PPS Billing

This position's function is to manage the PPS billing unit that supports PPS contracted physicians and their practice offices. Coordinate and manage the overall functions of billing and collection of receivables. Plan, organize, and implement procedures to maximize effective collection of accounts receivable and minimize bad debt while remaining responsive to state and federal billing regulations as well as new developments in the industry. Effectively supervise PPS Service Representatives to maximize departmental productivity and performance.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
- High school graduate or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Three (3) years applicable experience with patient accounting and revenue cycle processes. Previous supervisory/management experience required.
- Knowledge of medical insurance billing and collections with CPT, ICD9, and HCPC coding and medical terminology, as well as overall understanding of managed care products (HMO, PPO, etc).
- Knowledge of provider enrollment procedures preferred.
- Fluency in English, voth verbally and in writing.
- Good analytic and problem solving skills.
- Ability to communicate at all levels.
