Scheduled days and hours will be dependent upon operational needs.EDUCATION: High School Diploma required, some college preferredLICENSE/CERTIFICATION: N/AQUALIFICATIONS: Excellent analytical abilities of both written word, metrics, charts or other documents generated by the GRASP system: computerized staffing system. Excellent interpersonal communication skills which enable individual to work with a variety of personalities and negotiate the necessary coverage for the hospital. Strong problem olving skills allowing individual to evelop creative alternatives to staffing/payroll issues. Detail oriented to ensure that discussions with independently and make decisions regarding staffing/payroll requests or challenges.1. Experience as a Support Service Representative in an acute care hospital preferred.2. Working knowledge of the ANSOS and GRASP Staffing System within 1 month of hire.3. Demonstrated knowledge of contract interpretation, job qualifications within 1 month of hire.4. Highly developed interpersonal skills.5. Excellent public contact skills, especially in stressful situations.6. Demonstrated ability to work independently and to handle a large volume of work under pressure.7. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Detail oriented.8. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Lotus Notes, Excel and Mainframe required.9. Must be willing to cross train to other nursing office functions.SKILLS TESTING: Typing: 45 WPMDUTIES: Under the general direction of the ANSOS/GRASP Coordinator, the Staffing Assistantcoordinates staffing of Hospital and/or other departments on a 24hhour basis. Under the direction of the shift Administrative Nursing Supervisor: Xerox, faxes, and troubleshoots medical records; obtains patient admission date; coordinates and facilitates unit-based quality monitoring activities; transfers patients within the Medical Center, facilitates identification, communication and resolution of staffing issues/problems; completes 24 hour HPPD report; obtains and distributes diet trays, medical supplies, and equipment as needed; performs other duties as requested.Consistently supports compliance and the Principles of Responsibility (KP's code of conduct) by maintaining confidentiality, protecting the assets of the organization, acting with ethics and integrity, reporting non-compliance, and adhering to applicable Federal and State laws and regulations, accreditation and Licensure requirements, and KP policies and procedures.
