Systems Analyst, IM-Clinical Apps Admin*

Job Status: Full Time, Employee Job Category: IT/Software Development Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Mission and Contribution of this position: Description Under the direction of the Manager or Project Manager, working in a team environment on large projects or independently on small projects, the Systems Analyst performs software upgrades, maintenance, new software implementation projects with vendor provided software, or custom developed enhancements and interfaces. Coordinates and provides problem resolution, technical analysis, costs and resource estimates, work plans, workflow documentation, and progress reports on assigned projects. Assists assigned customer areas in identifying potential benefits, setting standards, developing procedures, and re-engineering business and clinical processes to achieve expected benefits of new and existing systems. Minimum Job Qualifications Minimum Education: Four year Degree in Computer Science; a four year degree in business or Healthcare related field with computer science background Minimum years in field previous to employment: Five yearsFive or more (5+) years experience in host and client-server architectures, logical and physical data architectures, and development projects in a medium to large data processing environment (mainframe, midrange, and client/server) or five or more (5+) years experience in clinical and business operations in healthcare. Each Systems Analyst position will require competencies in one or more of the following skill categories: Mainframe: TSO, COBOL, JCL, VSAM, CICS, Easytrieve, Networking, Database Management, and Other Skills: Novell, Microsoft, UNIX/LINUX, Oracle, MS SQL Server, Btrieve, Other RDMS, SQL, Crystal Reports. Web Related; ASP/HTML/XML/VBScript/JavaScript Business Functional Skills PeopleSoft Professionals, Technical; SQR, SQL, PeopleCode, Application Engine; Application Designer, PeopleTools, PS Query, Process Scheduler, Data Mover, Data Management, Workflow, Self-Service Web-Enablement, PeopleSoft nVision. Functional; PeopleSoft Financials, PeopleSoft EPM, PeopleSoft HCM, PeopleSoft Benefit Administration. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess excellent team and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work well in teams and independently, under minimal supervision and guidance and be able to facilitate multi-skilled IS professionals. Must be able to manage multiple concurrent activities and balance priorities to meet changing requirements, and commitments. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be comfortable working with people at all levels of the organization, from management to front line employees.
