Join us and find the career of a lifetime. The Department of Radiology at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center is seeking a Systems Coordinator to support the RIS and PACS functions of the department. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Systems Manager in the day-to-day operation and coordination of the clinical information management systems including the IDXrad Radiology Information System (RIS) and the Talk Technology Voice Recognition system. The incumbent will also be involved in testing, upgrades, and any replacement of these systems and with user training on these systems. A High School Diploma required, Bachelors degree preferred. Incumbent should be comfortable with and knowledgeable in the use of computer systems. Prior experience with RIS and PACS desirable. Significant amount of initiative, judgment and creative ability is required. Should work independently and determine priorities to meet the demands of the position. Requires a self-motivated and assertive individual with the ability to interact with people in various work positions. Strict deadlines must be met. Sustained attention to detail is essential. Position requires continuous observation of clerical, technical and physician interaction with RIS and Talk Technology Voice Recognition system. This is a highly visible position requiring excellent communications skills to introduce a high technology methodology to physicians and clinical departments throughout the hospital. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
