THERAPIST

Located in center city Philadelphia, CHANCES provides intensive outpatient (IOP) and outpatient services to chemically dependent women with children. This dynamic program provides a comprehensive range of therapeutic, educational and support services for women including on-site child care. Therapist will be responsible for coordinating and managing various clinical issues.   The person in this position will work closely with Clinical Director and other members of clinical team.

 



Responsibilities: Conduct individual and group therapyWork closely with clinical team to coordinate and manage clinical issuesDevelop and update clients treatment plansMaintain client charts that meet all state, local, and program guidelinesParticipate in at least 25 hours of training each year to promote professional development.

Skills:Excellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to function in a professional mannerDemonstrating strong interpersonal skills and clear professional boundariesAbility to prioritize tasks and work independently as well as collaboratively with interdisciplinary teamSensitivity to issues of diversity.

 Experience:Minimum of two years clinical experience conducting individual and group therapyExperience in substance abuse and mental health treatment/issues

 Education Requirement:

Master’s degree in social work, counseling or related field preferred
