TMP - Territory Manager - Memphis **

Description
Is accountable for increasing company sales revenues and retaining existing sales revenue in an assigned territory through the sale of Terumo Medical Corporation products to new and existing clients. Plans, initiates and directs the contact and sales of assigned product lines to new clients and current accounts. Has complete accountability for an assigned territory and revenue and expense management within that assignment.

Sell Terumo Medical Products and services in the amounts required to meet or exceed assigned territory quotas thereby maintaining and constantly improving the Company's competitive position.
Train and travel with Distribution Representative to motivate the selling of Terumo products.
Establish and manage professional relationships with Distributor managers and field sales personnel, as well as other key decision makers based in focused markets as necessary to gain product support and preference for Terumo products.
Identify, train and maintain strong professional relationships with key business drivers.
Prospect for new customers through various channels, including medical/surgical distributors, professional trade organizations, trade conferences and conventions.
Consistently work to improve personal knowledge and sales skills to become of greater value to current and potential customers and to the organization.
Maintain accurate and up to date records of business dealings within assigned territory, and submit required reports to Manager in a timely and accurate manner. Reports include, but are not limited to territory customer records, sales updates and forecasts, weekly expense reports, monthly reports, and annual business plans.
Train and in-Service customers; educate them on the proper use of Terumo products.
Regularly interact and communicate issues, needs and business intelligence with internal support staff, including but not limited to Customer Service, Logistics, Marketing, Business Operations, Regulatory and Senior Management to provide total customer satisfaction.
Attend industry trade shows and conferences. Handle various responsibilities at these meetings which may include booth set-up / breakdown, demonstrating products, providing information to customers, researching and collecting competitive information or market intelligence.
Train and travel with Distribution reps as the main driver of business development.
Develop an annual territory business plan. This should include the following information: Territory overview, objectives, strategies, tactics, and timing. Review Business Plan quarterly with management.
Each TM should maintain an Outlook calendar, a comprehensive database of contact information for key customers, distributors as well as other business entities and continue to build Referral Accounts.

Performs other job related duties as assigned.


Position Requirements
Developing and maintaining customer base in a very competitive market. Make and communicate business decisions in territory through key business partners and internal staff.

Sales positions have a direct impact on company revenue it is necessary to strive to meet or surpass fiscal plan. Position is also responsible for prudently managing expenses and resources toward achievement of sales goals.

This position can consist of up to 50% travel, depending on the assigned territory. Potential exposure to Blood Borne Pathogens exists in some environments. Vaccination for Hepatitis B will be made available to all personnel in this position.

Educational Requirements
Typically requires a 4 year college degree, R.N. or BSN coupled with 2 to 4 years selling experience.
