Tablet Inspector

General Purpose: Set up, operate, monitor and check quality of gel capsules in the tumbler machines. Procure stage and set up needed inventory supplies. Transfers capsules and change drying towels as required. Discharge and inspect capsules from last tumbler as required. Fill, seal, label, weigh count and stage full boxes. Palletize boxes and stage in warehouse or inspection area. Procure samples from finished product for AQL and moisture tests. Correctly fill out logbooks and batch records as required. Make sure all SOP'S and GMP regulations are in place and are being followed. Clean tumblers as required during General and Major cleanings. Maintain good housekeeping. Able to train others to be Tumbler Operators. Responsibilities: Operate, monitor, transfer capsules, and change towels in tumblers. Discharge capsules, inspect, fill boxes and stage product. Maintaining and monitoring cleanliness of tumblers and room. Procure stage and set up necessary supplies for the tumbler job. Fill out and document all necessary paperwork. Monitor, collect and identify required QA samples.

High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 - 2 years experience in operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment in a related field. Must have basic math skills and be able to use a calculator to calculate percentages and times. Must be able to read, write and communicate in English. Must have a practical aptitude to understand production and process flow. Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs.
