The American Red Cross is the largest supplier of blood, plasma and tissue products in the United States.  Near 6,000,000 donations are made at Red Cross blood drives and sent to more then 3,000 hospital nationwide. People undergoing surgery, accident victims, cancer patients, hemophiliacs and others depend on the American Red Cross Services. 

 

TALENT ACQUISITION SPECIALIST

 

NORTHERN NEW ENGLAND

 

 

Our office in Manchester, New Hampshire is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist who will perform full lifecycle recruitment for assigned client groups within the Biomedical Services division.

 

Key responsibilities include recruitment for our offices in Northern New England which includes Manchester, NH, Portland and Bangor, ME as well as Burlington, VT.  May also include other remote sites as required.



 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

Develops/maintains multiple channels and networks to build a diverse and reliable applicant sourcing pool.

 

Designs and implements innovative recruiting plans for assigned positions using American Red Cross Talent Acquisition guidelines. 

 

Evaluates candidates based on employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities and other data pertinent to the selection and referral of candidates. 

 

Conducts behavioral based interviews via the telephone or face-to-face.

 

Maintains and tracks job and candidate data for compliance with EEO and other related employment laws and regulations.

 

Coordinates and negotiates employment offers.

 

Conducts on-boarding sessions with new hires as assigned.

 

Maintains current knowledge on applicable laws, regulations and trends in recruitment, and organizational policies, benefits and compensation.

 

Develops and maintains positive working relationships with customers.


Ensures all aspects of the recruiting and hiring process are carried out in accordance with Red Cross policies, procedures and guidelines.



Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Human Resources Management or related field, or equivalent work experience.

 

Minimum of three years of recruiting experience is preferred.

 

Expertise in corporate recruitment including client management is strongly preferred.

 

Ability to operate in a fast paced environment with a demonstrated ability to accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously.

 

Strong customer service, interpersonal, negotiation and oral/written communication skills are required.

 

Must be a team player, collaborator, and able to effectively network at all levels within and outside the Red Cross.

 

Demonstrates cross-cultural sensitivity with demonstrated experience and ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.

 

Must be flexible and able to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

 

Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written skills required.
