Purpose

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, this position is responsible for the coordination of all of the company’s tax planning, filing, reporting and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Calculations and preparation of annual and quarterly tax provisions in accordance with FAS 109, including tax footnote disclosures for SEC filings.
• Analyze tax accounting implications under FAS 123R including managing the tracking book/tax timing differences and maintain APIC pool.
• Manage federal and state income tax returns, extensions and estimated payments Development and implementation of audit test plans
• Manage SOX 404 tax compliance requirements and update SOX Narrative.
• Manage sales and use tax returns and reconcile accounts monthly
• Manage all federal and state income, sales and property tax audits
• Manage one tax analyst and all tax consulting relationships
• BA or higher degree in finance, accounting or related subject
• 3 – 5 years Big Four experience and CPA highly desired, tax department experience required
• 5 years or more working in industry in tax management position
• Strong interpersonal skills, effective communicator and team player
