Team Leader, Contact Center

We are currently seeking a Team Leader in our Contact Center. This position is located in Skokie.

In this role, you will:
•Offer ongoing training, coaching and provide feedback for skills development.
•Monitor call activity
•Ensure resources are available to handle calls
•Schedule staffing
•Take supervisor level calls
•Handle calls during busy times and fill-in when representatives are out or on break
•Work closely with other team leaders and management to ensure that our customers are treated with the utmost level of professionalism and quality service

 

 

The ideal candidate will have:
•High school diploma or equivalent (required)
•Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or other related field (preferred)
•2+ years of experience in a call center environment
•1+ years of demonstrated ability to supervise and build teams
•Basic math skills
•Basic computer skills
•Knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance terminology gained through formal course work or on-the-job training
•Ability to speak clearly and articulate to customers and co-workers
