JOB DETAILS: Scheduled hours per week: 40.00, Begin and end Times: VARIED; Days of work: Varied SUMMARY: This position assists in daily and ongoing operation, including oversight of processes related to: smooth flow of patients and most efficient use of limited, high tech resources; implement a continuous quality improvement program to enhance utilization of these resources; establish an ongoing training, orientation education program for Vascular Technologists and maintains a Technical Director role for ICAVAL accreditation standards; assist in management of quality control and inventory control. This position will be responsible for the leading their team to deliver the optimal customer service to both our internal and external customers. Independently performs requested vascular examinations searching for any pathology as indicated by the patient¿s symptoms/medical history and/or results from previous testing. Reviews and enters the vascular findings into the Heartlab system to provide clinical indicator to the interpreting physician so a diagnosis can be made. REQUIREMENTS:EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCEARDMS Registered Peripheral Vascular Technologist. Credentialed as a RVT. SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGEFull understanding of Radiology Information Systems; expert in principles/operation; good understanding of intradepartmental processesKIND AND LENGTH OF EXPERIENCEThree years of experience in a charge capacity. One to two years of previous vascular experience.
