Job Skills/Requirements
As a member of the Technical Operations Team, the Application Developer will be responsible for development of tools and utilities to expedite repetitive data analysis and resolution processes, and business process automation for internal and external partners. This role also involves heavy usage of ETL and BPM tools.
- Provide technical guidance and data solutions to internal and external partners.
- Manage the Implementation, testing and overall quality of the data feeds and specifications prior to moving to production.
- Work with partners and production services to ensure data security and transmission methodologies are established for feed automation.
- Provide documentation for data feed flows, processes and procedures.
- Manage on-going data feed specification and transmission changes.
- Research, analyze, and trend data information for quality in order to proactively identify data issues, process gaps, and data flow improvements.
- Manage technical projects from start to finish.
- Utilize troubleshooting methodology and/or analytical framework.
- Manage action or project plan
- Define and document business requirements
- Coordinate with appropriate stakeholders
- Provide Conclusions and recommendations
- Provide quality analysis of data for reporting and statements.
- Providing ad-hoc reports and data for custom requests within the identified service level agreements.
- Manage system setup configurations and overseeing of day-to-day operational processes to ensure our service levels are met.
Technical Skills
- Oracle Business Intelligence, ODBC, Import/Export, SQL Loader, TOAD, SQL, Oracle 11i, MS-SQL, MS-Access
- ASP.NET, .Net Framework, JAVA, Crystal Report, XML
- System Analysis & Design
- Knowledge of Data Junction is MUST
- Knowledge of FLUX is highly desirable
Education Requirements
Computer Science Degree, Technical Degree, or Appropriate technical work experience
Additional Skills
- Highly organized, self starter, and ability to multi-task.
- Strong knowledge of financial industry
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Previous experience in team leadership, managing projects successfully and driving initiative to closure is a PLUS.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Additional Information/Benefits
All benefits are effective on the 29th day of employment with the exception of tuition reimbursement, which is effective after 90 days of employment.
