Technical Application Specialist The Technical Application Specialist is a key contributor to overall customer retention, company and product acceptance.  The Clinical Application Specialist is a field position and supports Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics customers, field sales and service employees for clinical application troubleshooting, installation and integration of Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics products into customer workflow, demonstrations, and in-service training.  This position interacts with all levels of Clinical Application Specialists, Sales Representatives, Field Service Engineers, Customer Care Managers, Region Managers, Applications and Area Consultants, Second Level Support and all levels of employees and management at customer accounts.  The nature of these interactions include answering questions, solving basic and advanced problems, conducting instrument demonstrations and installations, and educating on clinical applications and product information.  This position requires self motivation, independent thinking, accountability, strong organizational skills and customer orientation, strong technical skills on the product line supported, and excellent communication skills and ability to manage conflict.Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Medical Technology is a plus; minimum 5 years of job related experience in diagnostics laboratory.  Prior team leadership capability preferred and proficiency with Microsoft applications, particularly with Excel data management, and working knowledge of email and Internet access software.
