Summary:

Serve as the pre-sales technical expert to our Account Executives as we deliver innovative teleradiology services that make our customers’ radiology workflow more efficient throughout the US.  Through a solid vision, validated business strategy and passion for solving business and IT challenges this position will positively impact radiology workflow to ensure the recognition and success that Virtual Radiologic has enjoyed today will continue.

Provide key technical contact for prospective accounts.  Work with customers on workflow efficiency, software installation, hardware set-up or networking.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·  Responsible for the services to the customer after the sale and during installation to ensure satisfaction and to promote future business.

·  Maintain current  knowledge of competitive products and systems characteristics, including knowledge of local competitive pricing and must be able to apply economic considerationAnalyzes customer needs with respect to several alternate workflow solutions using Virtual Radiologic service offerings. Provide evaluations of current and potential client network systems. Perform solution architect approach to describe both verbally and written a custom solution for clients. Provide strong technical and problem solving ability to quickly identify a fit for Virtual Radiologic solutions. Develop a strategic integration plan for customer’s radiology and network systems to VRC. Develop, implement, and monitor information systems policies and controls to ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance. Aid in the design and development of equipment and systems, and redesign of existing systems to fulfill the needs of customers. Formulate business systems architecture plans, estimates costs, and ensures projects are on schedule to meet strategic “go live” goals. Work with sales and marketing team to implement business development initiatives related to the customers IT and radiology systems. Provide technical sales support to VRC sales, account services and the customer. Communicate both verbally and written to both technical and non-technical customers. Provide support for both pre- and post-sale by attending customer presentations to represent the advantages of VRC services. Other responsibilities, as needed

Qualifications/Education:Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Information Systems/MIS, computer science, business or equivalent. Minimum 2 years experience in a sales related environment. Minimum 2 years experience implementing or supporting technical solutions in engineering or related environments. Understand application, data and systems integration. Strong interpersonal skills for communication with IT leadership and functional business teams. Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills with proven ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally with customers at all levels. Familiar with Project Management, Solution Architecture, PACS, DICOM and HL7. Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, & PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail is required. Must be able to travel 50% of the time
