Technical Support/Customer Service (Temp to Perm)
ProxyMed, Inc. (Nasdaq:PILL), doing business as MedAvant Healthcare Solutions, operates as an information technology company that facilitates the exchange of medical claim and clinical information among doctors, hospitals, medical laboratories and insurance payers. MedAvant operates Phoenix(sm), a highly scalable platform which supports real-time connections between healthcare clients.
We are seeking an individual with strong technical abilities, excellent communication and customer service skills. The qualified individual will start in a trainee role and move to a regular employee status after the successful completion of a 90 day introductory period.
Duties
Responds promptly to technical questions and issues working with physician offices, payers, hospitals, accessing and navigating multiple programs, working in a call center environment.
Requirements and Experience:
q Hands on technical support
q Ability to analyze technical issues
q Knowledge of operating systems and networking environments
q Strong customer service and phone skills
q Min 2 years customer service exp (in call center environment); where the technical support team has handled high volume support requests
q Answer incoming customer telephone calls, place outgoing calls and document all interactions in an acceptable format.
q Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
q Completion of an Associates Degree or Equivalent
q Technical Certification a plus
q MS Office Suite, Internet access
