JOB TITLE:   Technical Support/EEG Associate

 

BASIC FUNCTION:  Responsible for the receipt, processing, and review of clinical endpoints and device output data compliant with departmental standard operating procedures and GCPs. Participate in development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical trial data including initiating, investigating, reviewing and monitoring data collection.  Evaluate, review, monitor and document all study results.  Classify and analyze data.  Participate in the set up and maintenance of clinical research databases, equipment set-up, maintenance and tracking.

 

IMPORTANCE/JOB DUTIES:

 

Review, analyze, and enter incoming clinical data; ensuring proper protocol adherence and quality of data collection.

 

Participate in and assist in management and presentation of weekly data review conferences including: review of incoming data, EEG quality review and interpretation, and reporting of collaborative review.

 

Participate in implementation of clinical research trials including set-up, maintenance, ensuring quality of data collection, ongoing review, maintaining clinical files, and close out procedures.

 

Build familiarity with relevant scientific literature and applicable regulations.

 

Comply with Aspect procedures and policies.

 

Represent company at research site locations.  Travel is required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  Education, Experience, and Other Requirements

 

(1)   Bachelors Degree in health related field or equivalent education and/or experience.

(2)   Completion of course work and/or equivalent experience in the interpretation of EEG recordings.

(3)   0 to 3 years clinical research or experience in a clinical setting.

(4)   Proficient in Microsoft Office Software applications.
