IntelliDOT™ Corporation was founded in 2002 with the goal of improving patient safety and nurse workflow associated with the medication administration process.  IntelliDOT’s CAREt system provides an advanced, wireless workflow optimization and patient safety solution for hospitals and other healthcare providers.  Built on a wireless network, the system incorporates a unique handheld computing device, an enterprise-class server and a sophisticated, but flexible software application.  Designed to complement the way nurses work, the CAREt System provides a straightforward user interface that supports a fully integrated approach to medication safety and documentation at bedside, in a variety of healthcare settings. 

 

We are seeking a Technical Support Representative (TSR) to work closely with engineers, product managers and sales engineers.  This person will contribute to the product’s vision and work with state of the art technology. This position will provide high-quality customer support and make CAREt system users successful. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIESDiagnose, troubleshoot, prioritize and resolve technical support issues with customers via telephone, email, web-based case systemProvide positive customer experience (first point of contact with customers)Must have strong troubleshooting abilitiesMust be able to multi-task in a fast paced environmentAbility to build strong customer relationshipsEffective communication skillsMaintains accuracy of customer informationWorks with core team to improve product and processesTakes initiative to grow personal knowledge and stay current on industry related news and activity

 

Requirements

EDUCATIONTechnical degree

 

EXPERIENCE1-2 years experience in a technical support roleStrong troubleshooting skills and processes for problem resolutionStrong logical thinking, problem solving and crisis managementExperience with SQL-based RDBMS, XML, JavaScript and shell scripting a plusExperience in a healthcare environment (IT, Pharmacy or nursing) a plus

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Location:   San Diego, CA

Travel:   Minimal

Hours:   40 hours per week (shift rotation for 24-7 support)

Salary:    DOE
