Technologist Customer Service Rep

Research Triangle Park, NC 27709 1st shift position with the following hours: Monday - Friday 8:30-5:30. Answers all incoming calls for both internal and external clients.  Performs intake review for genetic counselors.  Calls out abnormal results for Molecular Genetics, Biochemical Genetics, and Pathology labs.  Obtains clinical history on patients for all CMBP labs.  Performs problem resolution for all CMBP labs. Acts as a technical reference within the Customer Service Department while functioning as a liaison between LabCorp and its accounts in response to inquiries and problems. Evaluates new procedures on methods under direct supervision of department supervisor or group leader. Assist in training and orientation of personnel as assigned. This position requires a Medical Technologist Degree w/2 years of experience.
