Currently Western Dental owns and operates over 200 office locations throughout California and Arizona, has two million patient visits per year, and employs about 4000 people.

Western Dental is seeking a telecommunications technician for its fast developing advanced telecommunications department.

We are seeking a responsive, customer service orientated, technical expert, with a combination of analytic skills and technical trouble-shooting abilities to help us grow and expand our business.

The individual must be able to respond to changing deadlines, be customer focused, and have exemplary trouble shooting skills, in a rapidly developing telecommunications environment. The candidate must be able to take part in development projects in parallel to ensuring seamless daily operations.

It’s essential to have great people skills, be able to work under pressure, work in a team environment, be able to analyze information and detect traffic trends.

Experience should include wire line, dial tone. Communication with vendors, maintain usage and traffic records, maintain voicemail and ACD applications, provide on-call support after business hours, remotely isolate and troubleshoot system failures. Perform day-to-day moves, adds and changes on PBX. As part of the team, perform end-user support for over 500 corporate users and over 200 remote locations.

Required technical skills:

General telecommunications / telephony knowledge Microsoft Office Suite Voicemail maintenance experience Communication Devices, Patch and Updates experience 2 years programming experience with PBX’s and ACD applications POTS, PBX moves, adds and changes Cabling and networking experience
